Shaunda Fry

I was raised in Austin, Texas and always had a passion for music. I grew up listening to a wide range of music from the Glen Miller Orchestra to Janice Joplin.

I began singing Gospel and Blues at the Metrocrest Community Church, much later in life in Texas. Moving to LA, I performed with the Do Whoppers a six-piece vocal group, performing at local clubs and retirement centers.

I was a professional Comedian for ten years performing coast to coast with top comedic performers such as Lewis Black, George Lopez, and Kathleen Madigan.

My latest venture is being the lead singer for the Toneshakers, a Denver Roots, Rhythm, Rock and, Blues group. If I’m not at a gig, you can find me singing at Blues Jams in the Denver, Colorado Metro Area.

My musical inspirations are Etta James, Buddy Guy, Susan Tedeschi, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and more, but like music, my influences are always changing.
